Portraits are my most popular subject matter, apparently. I do enjoy painting from real models when possible, but painting fantasy characters is just as fun. When I draw up these characters, someone always asks, "Who is that?" I used to feel bad explaining that they were "nobody", so I started giving them people names, which also spares me the effort of coming up with descriptive titles!
